Former neighbors and their little boy came over today for supper. I enjoy their company very much.
Thoughts this evening go back to high school and the reaction my mother had to finding and reading a note to me from my friend. I had forgotten about this and never really realized how hurt, hated, and disgusting I was made to feel. No asking for any explanations just her jumping to whatever conclusion she jumped to. I do believe after she confronted me with her hate, she threw the note at me and walked away.
